Information we collect
Account data. Playing Fast Lane requires an account. You can sign in with Apple Game Center, or create an account with an email address and password. We use Google Firebase Authentication to create an account identifier and store your email address (email accounts only) and the display name you choose. Passwords are handled by Firebase and are never visible to us.
Game Center (Apple). If you sign in with Game Center, Apple provides a player identifier that we use to sign you in. This is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.
Gameplay data. Your games are stored in Google Firebase Realtime Database so they can be saved, resumed and synced between players: your display name, character, and in-game progress (money, career, stats and so on). In online games, other players in the same game can see your display name, character and in-game progress.
Push notifications. If you allow notifications, we store a device push token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) linked to your account, used only to tell you when it's your turn in an online game. You can turn these off any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → Fast Lane.
Advertising (AppLovin). Fast Lane is free and may show ads through AppLovin MAX and the ad partners it works with. When ads are shown, these partners may collect device identifiers (including the Advertising Identifier / IDFA, only if you allow tracking), coarse usage data, and diagnostics to serve and measure ads. Before any tracking, iOS asks your permission (App Tracking Transparency); if you decline, you may still see ads, but non-personalized ones. AppLovin's use of this data is governed by the AppLovin Privacy Policy. Ads are not active in every version of the app.
Purchases. Where a "Remove Ads" purchase is offered, Apple processes the payment. We receive only a purchase confirmation (never your card details) so we can turn ads off for your Apple ID.
Diagnostics. We don't use third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools. If you have chosen to share analytics with app developers in iOS Settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports.
How we use information
- Create and secure your account and sign you in
- Save, resume and sync your games, including online multiplayer
- Send turn notifications you've allowed
- Show and measure advertising, when ads are enabled
- Provide the "Remove Ads" purchase, when offered
- Fix crashes and keep the game running well
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it beyond operating and improving the game.
Sharing
We share data only with the service providers that make the app work: Google (Firebase: authentication, game storage and push notifications), AppLovin and its ad partners (advertising, when enabled), and Apple (Game Center, notifications, In-App Purchase). Other players see only your display name, character and in-game progress in games you join.
Your choices
- Delete your account: in the app, go to Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, email address, display name and push token. You'll leave any online games you're in; an AI player takes your seat and your name is replaced with "Former player".
- Display name: change it any time in Settings.
- Notifications: turn them off in iOS Settings → Notifications → Fast Lane.
- Ad tracking: decline the iOS tracking prompt, or change it later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. You can also reset your Advertising Identifier there.
- Other requests: email us at the address below and we'll help.
Children's privacy
Fast Lane is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Data retention
Account data is kept until you delete your account. Saved games are automatically deleted 60 days after they were created. When you delete your account, your account data is removed right away and your name is removed from any remaining games.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the "Effective" date above will change. Material changes will be noted in the app or on this page.
